frankfurt Erbsen salat - Pea salad

Special pea salad, which is well known and liked in the Frankfurt area.

hessischer kartoffel salat - potato salad

Potato salad from the state of Hessen. Often served with German smoked sausages. Prepared with an oil and vinegar base and includes eggs.

gemischter salat - mixed salad

Mixed salad or a combination of the above listed salads.

Deutscher Teller - German platE

A German Classic. Includes Cold Cuts and Cheeses.

QUARK AUFSTRICH - Sourcream spread

This spread is often served on German bread or an oven potato. It includes sour cream, fresh herbs, oil, and vinegar.

SEASONAL FOOD - OBATZDA

This is a delicious Bavarian cheese spread, serves with a variety of breads or pretzels, and German pickles. The classic Bavarian Biergarten food.


Deutsche Suppen - Soups

All meals are prepared for 4 guests. Larger groups will be priced separately.

frankfurter kartoffelsuppe - potato Soup

This is a specialty from the Frankfurt area. The traditional soup will be served with green onions and smoked sausage.

PilzRahmSuppe - Mushroom soup

The perfect start of your meal. Includes seasoned mushrooms and wild rice.

Gemüsesuppe - Vegetable soup

Prepared with beef broth, vegetables, and served with slices of beef.

gulaschsuppe - goulash soup (seasonal)

 This hearty beef and vegetable soup is a classic soup that is served all over Germany.


Hauptspeisen - Main Menu

rinder geschnetzeltes - beef with creamy sauce

Traveling around Germany, each region offers its own version of the original recipe from Zurich in Switzerland. The dish is based on veal or chicken, and has a tasty, creamy, and often wine-based, mushroom sauce.

hessischer gulasch - hessian goulash

This is one of my personal favorites. My grandmother spoiled me with an excellent larger portion when I visited them over the weekend. Includes beef, peppers, potatoes, carrots, and our secret goulash flavor. We can serve it over potatoes, rice, or noodles. We want to point out that is has a spicy note to it.

Schnitzeltopf - Schnitzel

We will prepare a particular version of the famous Schnitzel. This recipe will be prepared with pork, mushrooms, cheese, and a delicious cream bases sauce. Traditionally served over potatoes or rice.

frankfurter rippchen - smoked porkchops

The dish is a standard in the restaurants around Frankfurt and all over the state of Hessen. Delicious and served with the famous Sauerkraut, German mustard, and bread.

Giessener frikadellen - german meatballs

This is not the typical hamburger paddy. The "Frikadelle" is German but the dish is associated with, not only German, but also Danish, Scandinavian and Polish cuisines.

fischgerichte - fish dishes

We offer a variety of fish dishes, including tilapia, salmon, and other selections. Based on market availability.

Bratwurst - Brats

Traveling through Germany will provide plenty of opportunities to eat one or many of these wonderful German sausages. 

currywurst - Curry Wurst

"The Classic" from Berlin with our secret sauce. We will have brats and turn them into the Curry Wurst.

Sauerkraut - sauerkraut

This is another classic German side dish. Sauerkraut is finely cut raw cabbage that has been fermented, and we prepare it the Grandma way, with some apple and caraway seeds.

rotkohl - red cabbage

This can be an additional side dish for your guests. It will be prepare the Rotkohl the Grandma way, adding apples and some additional secret ingredients. 

brötchen - rolls

The Brats are best when they are served in rolls. We usually look for sourdough rolls. We need to order the rolls in advance from a bakery. 

senf - mustard

The Brats are best when they are served with German  mustard. We serve our meals with a special German mustard.

bauernpfanne - farmer's skillet

It includes potatoes, hickory smoked sausage, sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes. Perfect lunch for this time of the year. 


Beilagen - Side Dishes

spätzle - Spätzle (Seasonal)

 Spätzle are small Central European dumplings that are easy to make and delicious. Served with stews, or as a pasta. It is a seasonal dish and not made from scratch. Most likely finished on-site to ensure freshness.

Kräuter kartoffeln - potatoes with herbs

These potatoes are sliced thin, rolled in olive oils, and seasoned with several herbs. Most likely finished on-site to ensure freshness.

nudeln oder reis - Noodles or rice

We will offer egg noodles or seasoned rice as an additional side dish option. Most likely finished on-site to ensure freshness.

Sauerkraut - sauerkraut

The traditional German side dish, which we all love with our brats or meats, and prepared for you in the traditional German two to three- hour cooking process.  

rotkohl - red cabbage

The traditional German side dish, which we all love with our meats. It will be prepared for you in the traditional German two to three-hour cooking process.

Deutscher senf - German Mustard

Special German yellow mustard (imported); Price per serving; Serves 4 guests 

Berliner Curry Sauce - Berlin Curry Sauce

This is the sauce you will find all over Germany when you order a Bratwurst with Curry Sauce. It is our special recipe. Serves 4 guests. 


Nachtisch - Desserts

All meals are prepared for 4 guests. Larger groups will be priced separately.

This is a very traditional Bavarian and Austrian desert. It has to be prepared on-site, and served the regular version, with raisons, or served with a special liquor option.  

heisse liebe - SpEcial ice cream treat (SEASONAL)

Vanilla Ice Cream with Hot Berries - A Classic German Mountain Treat

Brot Auswahl - Bread Selection

BRÖTCHEN - ROLLS

We also try to get German style rolls for the meals. 

MEHRKORNBROT - multigrain bread

One of our favorite breads. Multigrain bread is a type of bread prepared with two or more types of grains.

pumpernickel

Pumpernickel is a very traditional bread that can stay fresh for a while. It is heavy, slightly sweet rye bread, made with sourdough starter and rye that is coarsely grounded.

laugenpretzel - german pretzel

We will work with a local bakery, but it might be a seasonal item. You can eat these delicious German Bavarian soft pretzels plain or with German mustard.
